The Challenge
Anchor and Knots needed a maritime-focused platform showcasing both products and services for boat owners and marine enthusiasts. The challenge was organizing diverse offerings from equipment sales to maintenance services, creating educational boating content that builds authority, implementing product catalog with technical specifications, and designing nautical aesthetic that appeals to maritime community while maintaining professional credibility.
The Solution
Built a maritime WordPress platform with custom post types for products, services, and boating guides using ACF. Implemented product categorization with technical specification displays, service booking calendar integration, and educational content hub with maintenance tips and safety guides. Created nautical-inspired design with ocean photography, rope and anchor motifs, mobile-optimized product galleries, and strategic service inquiry forms.
